Frosted Vinyl Window Graphics
Our frosted vinyl window graphics are made from premium grade frosted vinyl and can be applied to either the inside or outside of windows. The film gives glass the appearance having been sandblasted, the method traditionally used to create a frosted effect. Use it on office windows or retail displays to obscure the view through a window without cutting out the light. Any shape can be cut from the vinyl and company logo’s, slogans or glass manifestations can easily be created.
Easy to apply
Frosted vinyl window graphics are easy to apply, even if your design involves complicated interior cuts. The whole vinyl is supplied in its correct layout on a mounting sheet so you don’t need to line up the individual elements of the design yourself. The mounting sheet is removed once your frosting is installed.
The graphic can be cut in reverse so if you want to apply the vinyl to the inside of a window and view it from the outside you can.
Reversed or not?
If you want to stick your frosted vinyl to the inside of your pane of glass, but have the design visible the correct way round from the outside, choose reversed.
Negative or positive?
You can choose to have your design cut in negative or positive.
If you choose negative, we produce a rectangle of frosted vinyl to your dimensions (presumably the dimensions of your pane of glass) and your design is cut out of the rectangle.
If you choose positive, we will cut your design at the dimensions you specify and remove the background rectangle of vinyl.

Not what i expected, but perhaps I misunderstood the description. I expected a sheet of frosted vinyl c. 600 x 900 as ordered with lettering cut-out. I received frosted vinyl lettering.
We have updated the product so you can choose when you place the order. Really sorry it was the wrong way round for you. We are sending you a replacement with the design cut out the other way round.

Not very happy with this product. My design had intricate cutouts and it was really difficult to remove the sticky side film without it lifting parts of the frosted layer. When I did get the layer off (minus a lot of the smaller detail part of my design) it was almost impossible to stick to the glass without the vinyl creasing or getting air pockets. Had to scrap the whole lot, not even attempting to do the second vinyl. Money wasted.
I know my design was intricate but I guess if someone from production had advised me that this might not work or suggested another product (static cling window film) would have been useful.
Hi Vipul. Sorry you had trouble installing your vinyl. Your design was moderately intricate, but not very intricate. We produce much more intricate cut vinyls (vinyls that include text for example). So there was no reason for us to advise you there might be a problem – our customers install these all the time without issue. Also, you chose a frosted vinyl product… static cling is clear so would not achieve the effect you seem to be aiming for.
We do offer half price reprints for customers who make a mistake during installation. We would be happy to do this for you – on frosted vinyl or printed on clear static cling, but you may have to rethink how you do it on static cling.

Very good quality, however the backing is extremely strong, making it difficult to apply to the window. It definitely needs 2 people (one to hold the vinyl and one to remove the backing) for larger areas. Under 20cm should be easy, but larger areas take time and effort. This could be much improved by using a weaker adhesive, however this is not print2media’s fault other than they need to select a different vinyl supplier!
